We wanted to see Norway and Norway was great. A solid 10 for beautiful fjords, quaint ports and friendly people.

Our experience on the Konningsdam was far from perfect. The crew was wonderful, and the ship is beautiful. However, when you start to peel back the layers of the overall experience, it's not all it should be.

Let's start with the angle of the toilet in our Veranda Stateroom, #5177. Anyone under 5', or 100 lbs. should have no problem with it. Anyone larger will bang their knee on the Shower Glass, of be forced to sit side-saddle. Not sure what panel of idiots approved this design. Bottom line, I will never book another cruise on Konningsdam unless this is corrected. Read more
