We chose this cruise as a graduation trip for my daughter. My husband and son were not able to join us. We had sailed NCL a few times many years ago when our children were young - possibly even this same ship. More recently we have traveled much smaller cruise ships (100-200) passengers so we were wondering how this would go. We were pleasantly surprised with the service and individual attention received. My daughter and I are vegan so were also a bit concerned that we might not be accommodated. Again we were more than pleased with the attention we received. The dining room manager Vitorino had us pre-order each evening for the following evening and on the two occasions we ate in specialty restaurants without pre-ordering we were again accommodated without much fuss. We enjoyed the tours and felt we had a good sampling of each port of call. We were concerned about having lineups with the larger cruise ship but found we were almost never inconvenienced. We loved having the balcony to sit on and found our room quite clean and satisfactory. My daughter was not feeling well and we took her to see the ship doctor who ran tests and put her on antibiotics as a precaution. The visit was fairly pricey as of course it was expected we would send the bill to our insurance company. Between my daughter's illness and her discovery that she needed to deal with some university applications we decided to cut our trip a few days short. Again it was no trouble to get ourselves off the ship early. The staff in the reception were more than helpful, even allowing us to use their computer to print our boarding passes. All in all it was a good experience.
