As this was my first cruise I was really let down by the poor facilities for disabled people . I’m an amputee and there was no help getting on or off the expensive shuttle buses none of them had a lift for the wheelchair so I had to climb the stairs of the buses really disturbing , also being lifted in the air by the staff to get on and off the ship because some had stairs this really upset me , the only memorable bits were the Scottish couples we spent our days laughing with and the staff onboard could not have done more for us before booking I’d recommend checking access first as this is very important if you have a disability, I may add that the ship was beautiful and it’s just a shame my first experience was so bad but having nothing to compare this was very difficult
