This was our family's first cruise. We are in our 40s with two teen boys. We have traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean staying mostly at upscale resorts (Four Seasons Nevis, Westin St. John, etc). Things we most enjoyed about Summit & cruising: 1. Normandie Restaurant - one of the best meals I have ever had! 2. Dinner in the MDR was always excellent, service also excellent. 3. Martini bar/Wine bar was great. Michael's club had great atmosphere, nice chess table for boys to play, but drinks were smaller although same price as martini bar. 4. Did not have to drive home on left side of the road after martini! 5. Excellent staff - polite & never pushy. Impeccable cleanliness. 6. Nice room with balcony. Great place to relax after returning from port. 7. Zip Line Excursion. Everyone had a blast - rainforest is breathtaking from that vantage point. 8. Fitness center - lots of machines, never overly crowded. Jogging track was nice too when it wasn't too crowded on the deck.

Things we did not enjoy:

1. Buffet restaurant. Food was mediocre; very crowded at breakfast & "every man for himself" attitude of most passengers 2. Pool - small, salt water, very crowded - ick. 3. Ports. We went to St. Thomas, St. Croix, Antigua, St. Lucia, St. Kitts. Each day we were just looking for a nice beach to hang out at. We routinely asked the concierge for a recommendation. He would invariably send everyone to the same public beach that was always overcrowded. Next time, I will do more homework on where to go & be prepared to get in taxi with directions. 4. Kids' arcade. Complete rip-off. $20 for less than 10 minutes of fun.
