Chose this cruise as a nice family cruise. I have 3 kids ages 6,9,13 so though a ship with waterslides, minigolf, etc would be a great choice. I expected the ship to have a lot of kids which would be nice so my kids could meet some nice friends. First the bad, there were many kids on this ship that should not have been able to leave there parents side. I couldnt believe the way these kids acted. I fully expect kids to be kids. You know, kids maybe running in the halls, accidentally bumping into you, being a bit loud sometimes, splashing in the pools, etc. You know, stuff normal kids do. However here is what I saw. Kids fighting on the ground at the mini golf and a worker just watching. Then in the room with the ping pong table it was always taken over by some teens with mouths on them that would shock a drunken sailor. Just F bombs and sex talk constantly, every day, they just took over that room for the whole cruise. Had to remove my kids from there and just kept going back each day hoping that they would be gone for a while to eat or something. Actually got in there once for a few minutes until the gang showed back up and tried to kick my kids off of the ping pong table until I walked over to them and told them that they had to wait until there game was done. So while we played ping pong they took some soccer/pool balls from one game and proceeded to throw them down the bowling lane so nobody could play the soccer/pool game anymore. When we finished ping pong, they proceeded to take all the ping pong ball and smash them with the paddles. Another day we saw kids throwing golf balls off the side of the ship. One kid was daring the other to then throw a golf club over. Had some teenagers ask me to buy them alcohol too. Just too many kids left unattended who really couldn't handle the freedom of being without adult supervision. I think the areas with all these unattended kids should at least have a worker to supervise these kids. Told a worker about the kids throwing golf balls over the side of the ship but he didn't seem to care.

Now the good. Dinner was fantastic every night. The wait staff was very attentive and the food always good. I am not a very picky eater though so others may disagree. But I thought it was good. Also the room steward always had our room cleaned and left a towel animal which the kids liked. Matt the cruise director is the best. Very funny and always got the party going. He seemed to be everywhere. I don't know when that guy sleeps. But he always seems to be in a good mood and is always engaging with the guests. A true class act.

The playlist shows were also good. They were very entertaining. There were also several other live music performers on board that were really good.

Cabin was nice. Had a bathtub and two sinks which was nice.

Port Reviews

Grand Turk

Beach and pool along with shopping right off the ship. Beautiful water and very peaceful. Loved this place.

La Romana (Casa de Campo)

Took a bus for $8 per person to Altos De Chavon. Nice place for a few pictures. There is a small museum and a few shops. Bus picked us up right where it dropped us off. Very easy and professional.

Curacao

Didn't do an excursion through Carnival. But after walking over the Queen Emma Bridge there is an information booth with folks offering an excursion for sight seeing and then drops you off at a beach for about 2 hours. It was only $15 per person and was around 4 hours. Very nice tour especially for the money. The beach was nice also .
