First time cruiser review. Beautiful well-designed ship top to bottom. Amazing how crowds are easily managed for dining and entertainment. Mid-ship 8th floor balcony cabin was cozy and very quiet as cabins above and below. Couldn't image not having a balcony room. Much storage space for modest cabin size. Bed comfortable in general but a but short for 6' 1" person. Tap water in room good and fresh ice in ice bucket daily. No need to haul drinking water aboard ship. Food generally was good to excellent. Chops first rate - recommend filet mignon. Room service for breakfast good....nice slow way to start the day. Windjammer is very inviting and comfortable. Fairly wide variety of food. Appreciated nice salads at lunch. Curry dishes pretty good. Seaview Cafe disappointing as to Cuban sandwich. Early seating time at Tides - large table was great and enjoyed meeting three other couples. Waiters superior. Entertainment ranged from weak (El Gaucho) to very good. Smoke is an issue on starboard side cabins (read fine print allowing smoking on balconies this side of ship). Smoke in some restaurants and bars = ick! Your must walk the gauntlet through the smoke-filled casino to get to the theater. Cinema near bar/casino reeks of smoke. Gym pleasant with good equipment. Running on the outside track is a challenge given walkers...some side to side.
