Sail Date: Jun 2018
Cabin: Spa Mini-Suite with Balcony

We sailed on the Getaway last week. Embarkation was smooth sailing. We walked into our stateroom and it was much smaller than other mini suites we have stayed in. Next, we walked out on the balcony to find pubic hairs, longer hair, wadded up store tags, and other debris on the floor, chairs and table. It was pretty gross. Looked like someone had shaved themselves out there. Also, I made a cup of tea on the second day and the cup was left dirty and not exchanged until the 6th day of the cruise. We had the drink package and on other ships the drink package includes bottled water and specialty coffees/teas but not on Norwegian. I probably should have inquired a bit better about the drink package and not assumed it was like other ships I have sailed on. Also, the bar staff was not near as friendly as staff on Princess and Royal Caribbean. The pool is very small especially at ships full capacity as it was last week. However, the food was great especially at La Cucino. Overall we ended up leaving the ship with a bill of about $500 and usually it is less than $150. Needless to say I am not sure we will sail again with Norwegian. We are offered great deals on Princess and Royal Caribbean and love sailing. Very disappointed.

Not really worth the upgrade amount I paid. Very small.
