This cruise is great for travelers who want to see a lot in a short amount of time, It touches on the highlights of the Mediterranean, with the convenience of unpacking only once.

We boarded the Vision of the Seas in Barcelona for this 12-night cruise which stopped in various ports in France, Italy and Montenegro. We had 3 sea days and single days in the ports near Monaco, Florence, Rome, Naples, Ravenna and Kotor, with 2 days in Venice.

You really need to go on the shore excursions to see anything and I recommend booking them with Royal Caribbean because their providers make sure you are back in port before the ship departs. I am giving them an average rating only because some tour guides did not have very good command of the English language and some fellow travelers were complaining they did not understand what they were saying.

Cabin 2N

Even though this cabin is only 151 sq. ft., it works well if you unpack, place your suitcases under the bed, and use all the storage areas. I asked for extra hangers and used a plastic bag to collect all the dirty clothes, which I sent to the laundry service every 5 days or so.

If you stay organized and tidy, this cabin works well for 2 people. Make sure you bring toiletries as they only provide tiny soaps that they don't replace and liquid shampoo in a dispenser inside the shower.
