I've been on several cruise for my birthday approximately 4 including this latest cruise with Celebrity. Cruising on Celebrity Equinox was my first Celebrity cruise. First and foremost,

I was apprehensive about Celebrity because it's not a cruise line I would hear about often unlike other more popular cruise line. Celebrity cruise line is the cream of the crop for me as a baby boomer. I've never written a cruise review before but since I was pleasantly impacted by how this cruise line pays meticulous attention to detail and presentation was worth mentioning. The embarkation was the smoothest. It was very seamless to me. It was scary and welcoming at the same time. Compared to my numerous approx 10 other cruises this was the first time I could virtually almost just walk through the port terminal show proof of documents by pass the long crowded lines and board the ship. I was pleasantly pleased and surprised. Once I boarded the ship I was welcomed with a refreshing smile and a glass of champaign which was never offered on my many other cruises. I felt like a celebrity from the moment I stepped foot in side the ship. The mustard drill was engaging. I never thought I would or could say that about a mustard drill. That was a wonderful experience. And it's not because I had three glass of champaign. The drill was creative funny and very intuitive.

Moving on to the inside cabins on the ship was extremely spacious compared to the previous shoe box inside cabins on the other cruise line. Celebrity Equinox inside cabin has a sofa a nice firm mattress and a real shower with shower doors. Showers were big enough to bend over without touching the other shower wall. So that was a huge plus fore me. The food. OMG. The freshest and best I've had on any cruise ship. Food quality was lovely. Since I was celebrating a bday I was honored in special ways. Such as food drinks and gift certificate. Celebrity really set the bar high when it comes to cruising and for that they have my allegiance. Thank you Celebrity for making my cruise experience wonderful lovely and special again. I'm now in love with cruising once again.
