Greece, in particular Santorini has been on my bucket list for a long time. While getting on and off the ship was efficiently handled and the crew overall were very helpful and accommodating, the ship is old, cabins blah and food was awful on several nights in the main dining room. Some of the specialty dining was no more specialty than at Applebee’s or Ruby Tuesday’s. Entertainment was average at best.

We enjoyed many of the beautiful Ports and sights. Probably could have been 1 or 2 less ports. We booked two excursions through the ship and had some disappointment with both. The excursion to Santorini included a visit to a winery, apparently drinking wine at 9:30 a.m. is norm. In addition, waiting in line for the cable car for an hour and a half with people cutting in did ruin the experience. On our second excursion to Amalfi by land and sea, the land portion was only an opportunity to take a captive audience shopping. First, a cameo and coral jewelry factory, next a furniture factory, third, a lemonchello manufacturer. There was no mention of these stops in the tour info. The sea portion was well worth it. This was our third sail with Norwegian but I don’t think I will sail with them again.
