This is our 3rd carnival cruise and I must say this is our favorite so far. The Conquest was in great shape and very clean. We enjoyed the Serenity all adult area area when you wanted a more calm environment or the main area on Lido deck if you wanted a more lively scene. The pools on on every cruise I have been on are too crowed so that is to be expected. The hot tubs in the serenity area are nice. The ports were a lot of fun and all very different. In Nassau we took a cab to the public access area of Paradise Beach and walked down to the Atlantis area. Water was beautiful and we ordered food from a grill at the Atlantis right on the beach. Half Moon Cay is just great for all ages and beautiful. They have a decent lunch provided but it does stink you can't use your drink package there because it is a Carnival private island. Grand Turk has a nice cruise center and we spent the day at the pool at Margaritaville. You walk off the ship and right to the beach/pool area so no cabs, etc. The beach was a bit rocky at Grand Turk so we were happy to have beach days at our other 2 stops. I think this would be a great day to do an excursion and then go to pool and cool off. I wish we would of had 1 day between all 3 stops because we were really tired by our 3rd stop but our last day was at sea so we recovered a little that day. The food was average in the dining room and really depended on what you ordered. We felt the steakhouse, Guy's burger joint, and pizza was really good. It was our anniversary so we felt the $35 for the Steakhouse was worth it for one night. Plenty of entertainment (casino, comedy club, shows, movies, etc.). I felt this was a good value for a family of 4 but the bill does add up. Our boys 19 & 21 thought the ports of call were more fun than being on the ship. By the end they met some people their age which helped. I think cruises are very subjective and it really depends on what you find relaxing, fun and entertaining.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8E

We booked last minute so this was the only balcony left so I wouldn't choose it in the future due to noise by elevators and you could hear bands playing up to about 11 in lobby. Room was clean and very comfortable and our attendant was great.
