Very little kids activities, one kid movie at night the entire cruise, other R.C. ships have Shrek and other characters but not this cruise line. Guest services was horrible, second time for this issue. R.C. should take a page out of Disney and Chick Fil a's regarding customer service. Guest services on R.C. clearly do not care or want to be there. see pictures for little play area which the slide does not allow kids under 42 inches and the smaller area does not permit kids that are not in diapers. Sucked for my 40.5 inch five year old.
Too put this in perspective, my mother-in-law had just got back from a cruise with a friend of hers the week before our trip. She was on one of the newer ships with R.C., Harmony of the Seas. There was so much more to do. She has been on 7-8 cruises with R.C. over the past 12 years and was severely disappointed in this cruise. So much that she is thinking of looking into other cruise lines. This is shocking to me because she has sworn by R.C. for over a decade.
I would suggest looking at other cruise lines or a different R.C. ship if you have young travelers. Even though when you book through an R.C. travel agent they recommend Adventures of The Seas for kids, which only frustrates me more. We spent a lot of money on this cruise and to get back from a seven-day cruise to have our kids say the best part of the trip was the hotel in New Jersey prior to boarding the ship is disheartening.
