First, in this review I will make some comparisons to a Carnival cruise on the Valor we took last fall. It is my only other point of reference for a recent cruise, and I think that many people who read this will probably have cruised on Carnival or are at least familiar with them. Next, it should be noted that MSC caters to the international market, the ship has a decidedly European customer base and English speaking guests were in the minority on our cruise.

With that said, I will jump right in on the various aspects of our cruise.
