While planning a vacation with family I wanted to have an experience of visiting places with abundance of history and culture and also have fun / entertainment in equal measure. As I was contemplating on how to go about it an advertisement on the NCL cruises in the print media caught my attention. Further online search revealed that the cruise was an optimal solution for all my vacation needs. After taking a considered decision I took the plunge and booked the cruise for my family vacation.

Right from day one on board I knew that the decision has been the right one. My family was utterly thrilled with the whole experience. The stateroom on deck 13 was very well appointed with all the modern amenities in place. The steward assigned to our part of ship was amicable and very helpful which expedited our settling in and fining our bearing about the ship. Apart from the excursions at different ports of call the on board entertainment was of very high standard. The embarking and disembarking at the ports was a breeze. The handling of such a huge number of guests call for professional dexterity of very high order which was amply exhibited by the ship’s staff time and again. I would like to conclude by stating that the jewel in the crown of this cruise was the humongous food options available for the guests. In short we were spoilt for choice. On one hand was the seemingly endless buffet and on the other were the specialty restaurants. Even the main dining halls were an experience by itself. Cruising with NCL Norwegian Epic had been a very special experience for me and my family, memories of which we shall cherish for ever.

Cabin I1

Well appointed stateroom with very user friendly amenities. However, the cubicle for bath was a tad bit small with some accumulation of water on the bath floor. One had to physically push the accumulated water to the drainage point for making the bath ready for reuse.

The wash basin inside the stateroom was very small and while using it one had to keep towel around it to keep the surrounding area dry.
