I chose this cruise so that I could spend a couple days in one place. Bermuda is neat, but I think I would have preferred going to multiple locations. Being a first time cruiser I did not know what to expect or what I wanted out of a cruise.
The cabin next to us was filled with screaming children and arguing parents. The children would scream at each other for no apparent reason but "having fun," and the parents would scream at the children and each other because of the children. There was not a single day on my "vacation" that my boyfriend and I were NOT woken up at 6am to the sound of children screaming, jumping on the bed, or a mixture of both. On day 2 I complained to management... and actually everyday going forward. Nothing was done to make our stay better or to quiet the children. At one point I knocked on their door and had a nice conversation with the mother about how all we hear is kids screaming and them arguing. Not shocking to me that in the middle of our conversation her husband screamed at her to get back in the room.
Complimentary dining on the ship is plentiful, but simply mediocre. Nothing was special about these restaurants, and honestly most of it tasted like chicken bouillon according to my boyfriend. The specialty dining, however, was superb. Excellent. If I do go on another cruise you will find me here for each meal even if I have to pay. Unlimited beverage package is nice but bottled water and coffee aren't included? I mean come on. The ships water tasted like pool water, so I purchased a pack of waters that would have cost $7 at Costco for $28... a little steep considering I am paying for the all-inclusive aspect.
See the bit above about the screaming children...
