We chose this cruise because there were so many activities for the teens and adults in our group! We had two balcony cabins, one was an ocean balcony and the other one was a Central Park balcony cabin right across the hall. The rooms were spacious enough for two people each, more people would definitely feel a bit cramped. There was plenty of storage for two of us, and while the shower was small-ish, there was plenty of storage in the bathroom. The teens spent most of their time in the teen club doing whatever activities were available. They would meet us for dinner or did the port excursions with us, but then went back to their new friends. My husband and I spent most of the time in the gym, the spa, and the Solarium. We had the deluxe beverage plan for the two adults and we felt it was well worth our money. We got to try drinks that we might not have tried otherwise, and we often got a bottle of water when ordering a drink at the bar so we could take that to the gym. We ate in the MDR only once and we had the best service in there and the food was delicious, but after that night, we had a few meals at the specialty restaurants, and we didn't think the service or food was up to snuff. We especially enjoyed the food in the Windjammer buffet. It was always fresh and changed up from day to day. Since we tend to eat our bigger meal as a late lunch, this was perfect for us. We would then have a snack at Park Cafe or Sorrento's later in the evening. It was a wonderful cruise to celebrate our daughter's graduation from HS.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 4D

Bed was situated directly upon entering room, couch is nearest to windows/balcony. The bed was very comfortable, I usually get leg cramps and slept very well on this bed. There was a egg carton type mattress topper on the mattress. The room does not get very cold EVER but I think this was true of all of the rooms, closing the curtains certainly helped, but even overnight, it was quite warm. There was plenty of storage for two of us, most of our clothes fit into the closet, with my husband using the drawers by the desk for a few items. The shower pressure was great and even though the shower stall was small, all of our items fit on the shelf in the shower. There is no clothes line so if you plan on washing out gym clothes like we did, at the very least bring some magnetic hooks. We wondered if we would hear noise from the pool deck one floor above us, but we never did. We did enjoy being only one floor away from the pools, it made it easier to go back to the room to change into dry clothes. The room was not too far from the forward elevator and on the same floor as the Sun Deck although to access it, you need to go on the port side of the hallway. Overall, it was a great cabin and I would highly recommend it.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Very easy to unload luggage, park and get into the embarkation area. There was a line to go through security and then once through security to get our sea pass cards, but the lines moved quickly.
