This was our first Alaskan Cruise and our first cruise with Princess. We chose this cruise because we got a good deal on a balcony room. The cruise was very nice, enjoyed Mendaha Glacier and Glacier Bay. We were suppose to do the Yukon and White Pass Summit train ride but there was a land slide a few days before we got there and they were still clearing it so they took us by bus to Caribou Cross, it was disappointing I really wanted to do the train ride. (I can't blame Princess for that as it was mother nature) Hoonah was alright but not very big, we did see whales from our balcony. The shows were ok but had the same people twice in the week instead of something different every night. We ate dinner in the dining room all week our waiter and his helper were awesome. We tried the buffet for breakfast and lunch and didn't care for it, there was too many people and the food was not that great. My husband enjoyed the different types of food, I am a picky eater and did not care for there menu. Our room steward was great, we really never saw him, he introduced himself when we first got on the ship. My husband has an allergy to feathers so we asked for a different pillow which he brought right away. Always tidied our room when we left for breakfast and bed turned down when we came back from dinner. The cabin was nice, the bed comfy, the bathroom was small and the shower was tiny
