I recently sailed out of Fort Lauderdale on June 2nd on the conquest my name is Bruce . I have done a multitude of different cruises but was the most disappointed with this one. Getting on the ship and getting to our room was quite pleasant I was excited when I initially got in the room And then I started to notice how dirty it was all the lights in the ceiling were Covered in thick dust There was dust all over there was dust all over the room. If you walk barefoot in the room your feet would turn black. The sink was clogged when we got there spoke to someone about it they did not come out to resolve it till the last day of the cruise around 4:30 p.m. and were there for 3 hours while we were trying to pack and get ready for dinner which we missed there were hair balls in the shower. We tried to make the most of it and go to dinner which was your time seating which was a 45 minute way on the 1st night after being flustrated I thought maybe it was just because it was the 1st night on the 2nd night we got all dressed up to go to dinner went and took some pictures and Then had an hour wait For a dinner that was not even that great I remember cruising and getting lobster tails and filet mignon On captains night. After that we only ate dinner in the dining room one more time and it was nothing to speak of. The whole ship seemed extremely dated. That was only the beginning as far as overcrowding every part of the ship was Elbow To elbow We tried to go on the pool deck a couple of times there were so many people out there that it was not relaxing you could not find seat You could barely feel the water in the pool. Which brings me to my favorite place on Most cruise ships The casino I was looking forward to gambling but it was so smoky do the lack of ventilation And hot that I could not sit in there for Long periods of time With out my eyes water out of control it was extremely uncomfortable. The parts of the crews that were up to par Camp ocean they were excellent one of the girls named Agnes was really really good the piano bar was Very comfortable. I love cruising but this experience was a WASTE OF MONEY.
