The two week cruise commencing from Athens and terminating in Rome was a wonderful experience. The service, entertainment and food was excellent. The Princess excursions were well conducted for the most part except for Genoa which was rushed and the guide was not well versed with the history and had to read from her notes. The tour to Mt Etna was eventful as someone had their IPad stolen in a store that offers a taste of limoncello so be aware of your surroundings.
The evening entertainment is first class but the afternoon lacks a liveliness. Could use a few more organised events for the youth on sea days.
We had an interior cabin which was well appointed with a TV with select American channels. The maid service was excellent and our room was refreshed frequently. Dining room service was also excellent and the quality of food was good. All in all we had a great vacation and would recommend this cruise for those who want to get a flavor for ports in the eastern Mediterranean.
