All you need to know about joining a Princess Cruise in Japan.

1. Yokohama Cruise Terminal to Central Tokyo.

As at June 2018 the Port of Yokohama runs a free shuttle bus to Sakuragicho Station. The Shuttle Bus is parked right outside the exit door of the Yokohama Cruise Terminal. Port staff are their to help with your bags and answer questions in English. The trip from Sakuragicho Station to Yokohama Station takes 10 minutes, the Sakuragicho Station is one stop south of the main Yokohama Station and the fare to Yokohama is 140 Yen for an adult. The train leaves from Platform 4. Elevators and escalators are available to assist you in mananging your luggage. A Taxi to Yokohama Station takes 20 to 25 minutes and costs approx 40 to 50 Australian Dollars, depending on Traffic. Most Taxis only take 2 large bags in the boot, so please consider this before deciding to share a taxi with others.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BC

Large room at the pointy end looking over the bow. Full height floor to ceiling windows, large balcony, no chairs. Balcony could only be used in Port otherwise locked for safety reasons. Curtains had to be drawn at night as the light from the cabin reflected on the Bridge Command Centre.
