My son chose this cruise and asked if we wanted to go with the family. He had been on Celebrity before and loved it. I found it to be comparable to another line we like in many ways and others it didn’t compare. Embarkation went well and quickly. I didn’t have to stand on too long a line to check in. The ship is well maintained and very nice, but our bed was not very comfortable and neither was the sofa in the cabin. I did not like the selection on the television of shows and movies and I couldn’t believe we had to pay for some of the movies. It was nice to be able to check our account though. The bathroom was nice and I liked the shower stall with doors instead of a curtain and it had a night light. Storage seemed poor as the drawers weren’t very deep or long, no nightstand except for a couple of tiny shelves and the closet was small for two people. There was storage above the bed but hard to reach if you are short. Our steward kept it very clean and was very friendly but he didn’t keep our ice bucket filled.

Getting on and off the ship was easy. Lines were not long and I never felt crowded on the ship. We were always able to get a good seat in the theater for the shows as little as 15 minutes before showtime.

Food on board was good. The breakfast menu in the dining room was the same every day and never changed. The meals at night were good. My favorite was the prime rib one night. The buffet had a large selection to choose from and the food was quite good there. A good selection of beverages, too. However, the tables were often dirty and plates not removed very often.
