I chose this cruise due to proximity, timing, and great pricing. Now I'll review everything I experienced.
Food/Drinks: Get the drink package.. it's 200 for unlimited and you're going to drink if you sort of like drinking. I don't drink often, but the atmosphere of the boat makes you want to enjoy yourself with their parties. The food was fine for the buffets, but why not take meals sitting down and enjoying being served for the same price? I liked the options there and even the lamb was good which is tough to do sometimes. The offered us a free B-day cake and Anniversary cake, but we didn't try it.
Fitness: The pool is small, but the gym is a great size. They have packages where you can pay like under 100$ for unlimited yoga and other classes. I joined a $12 yoga class and it was very nice. The treadmills are weird to use on the water, but they all point out toward the sea so it's lovely at sunrise.
New York is a sight to see. This was my first time visiting and I walked about 20 blocks in the rain just to see the sights! It's a lively places with lots of billboards and I had the best bagel with lobster cream cheese.. lettuce, and tomato.. for just 3 dollars. The weather there can be drafty, take a sweater in spring and huge coat in winter!
I got a moped, but Ferries leave from the dock all day right next to the ship to go to St. George and Hamilton, so if it's your first time there you don't need a scooter. Hamilton is shopping only, no sights really. St. George is amazingly beautiful and tons to see and do including snorkeling at Tobacco Bay, History at Ft. Catherine/Alexandra Battery/Gates Fort and the town itself is cute with a mid-day historic scene they play out in the town square. Since we got a moped we could go to Horseshoe bay and all over the island in 2.5 days we had to spend there. Without I would have been just as happy seeing the two places mentioned above. See clearwater beach and smuggler's caverns if you do get a moped though. They are amazing! The locals are great, helpful souls as well.
