We wanted to try a new ship and we wanted to visit Alaska again. We have been there before, but wanted our adult children to experience it this year, so we decided on the Norwegian Bliss for the amount of new fun things to try on the ship, such as the go kart track and laser tag. Our adult kids are in their 20's and there was plenty for them to do to keep them happy the entire vacation. The week we travelled, the NBA finals were on and also the NHL Stanley Cup finals, which was quite important for our family. We were able to watch all of the games we wanted on the Big Screen in the casino, as well as at The Local Bar on Deck 7. The bartenders at The Local Bar and Grill were amazing the entire week and they knew our family after Day 1,which made my kids feel special. The only complaints that I would mention for the entire week, were that our cabin neighbors were smoking cigaretttes on their balcony and it was blowing right into my balcony and into our room. The second complaint is that people were sleeping and snoring on the beautiful lounge chairs in the observation lounge, making it uncomfortable for all those around. This area should be monitored a bit better or signage should be put up to stop sleepers where they shouldn't be sleeping. Overall, this was an incredible week that left us a bit shy in the pocket book, but large on happy memories. Thank you to all of the staff of the Norwegian Bliss who made this week our best Family Vacation ever.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BD

This cabin had bunk beds (a couch that pulled out into the lower bunk and a pull out top bunk) for our adult kids and we pushed the two twin beds together to make one bed for us. The top bunk bed was a little squeeky when my son moved around during his sleep which is probably due to them being so new. The only thing I did not like about our room was the metal overhang that made taking pictures difficult because it obstructs the view from the balcony when looking up and far out in the distance. There are only a handful of rooms that are effected by this metal bar, and our room was right in the middle of it.
