We are from England and have visited Greece many times but chose this itinerary as it was places we had never visited and we love NCL with the freestyle dining and all inclusive drinks. The cruise did not disappoint! Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth and fast. Our cabin, 8093, was midship inside, very quiet but close to the entertainment. Our stewardess was wonderful. We used all the 'free' restaurants and enjoyed all of them. We had one meal in Cagneys and agreed the steak was one of the best ever. We liked the timing of the port visits which were mainly in the afternoon/evening. Loved all the ports. We felt the ship excursions were way overpriced and not necessary. You can do some homework then just walk around Kotor. Corfu was too busy with 7 ships in port. You can take the hop on, hop off bus or if you want a beach, take the local bus or a taxi. Santorini was spectacular. We took the local bus to Oia. Cost 1.8 euros and was air conditioned. Beware of the port trip offering a boat over to Oia with a bus back for 15 euros. The included bus is just one hour after arriving, so not enough time to see the place properly. Mykonos was picturesque but expensive. We think prices go up when the cruise ships arrive. We always bartered for purchases and some Americans thought that was not the right thing to do but it is quite acceptable e.g. bought my daughter's bag for 30 euros and it was marked at 80. Dubrovnik was beautiful. You can walk to the cable car for the spectacular views then walk the wall of the old city or just walk around inside. You don't need to be on a tour to see the Game of Thrones locations. One family took a taxi and were told no one lived inside the old city, absolutely not true. Cars are prohibited so that's why he told that story. Party night around the pool was great fun, wish there had been more! Pool games only happened once on the sea day, which was a shame but suppose the reasoning behind that was literally everybody gets off the ship in the ports so the ship is deserted. The best duty free buys are in the duty free shops in Corfu and Santorini. If you miss those the ship is the best bet. Overall we had a wonderful time. Some of the 'moans' make us laugh. You cannot have things all ways. The few imperfections were more than made up for by the wonderful fun loving passengers who created a real holiday atmosphere on board. You could always hear laughter ringing out from the elevators, bars etc. and everyone was super friendly. We loved the trip and will certainly travel with NCL again.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside

Cabin IB

The cabin had plenty of storage space which more than made up for the fact that you could not leave the bathroom and use the main wardrobe at the same time. Beds were comfy and our stewardness excellent. Never heard an outside noise once yet we were close to most of the entertainment.
