Day 1 – Embarkment (Saturday)
We were told loading was 1p. Yet when we arrived by about 12p to be early, people were already loading, some seen on their boat patios. Obviously it started earlier and we wish we had known.
Once we managed to get thru luggage check and security lines and then keys to our rooms, we headed to check them out and settle in a bit. They we were told there was lunch! After 1p? Again, sure wish we had known in advance. We decided to check it out. While there was a nice selection, many things were not well stocked. There was no ranch dressing – and some green dressing I had no idea what it was since there wasn’t a sign.
Cabin Review
Balcony
We had an accessible balcony room. I have no general complaints about the room. It was spacious enough. Only issue was not enough plug ins. I was traveling with my elderly parents that both have electric wheelchairs to charge at night along with c-pap machines and then we all had sell phones. We had to obtain extra extension cords and hand those running all over the room. The room had more space that I expected (previously had I an interior room on a Royal Caribbean Cruise) with closet and drawers. I would of liked a little more bathroom counter space but I just sat belongings on the floor. It was great having a balcony and being able to look out at any time.
Port Reviews

Stopping at this port late night (7p-11p) left limited options. We took a bus type tour (I think $12) up to town just to wonder and get some souvenirs for a short while.
Glacier Bay
It was a nice day around Glacier Bay. Loved the information with ranger that came aboard
