I was in a junior suite. Used my wifes casino offer to get it for practically the same price as an oceanview. So embarkation was a breeze due to being priority. This ship is smaller than the newer ones but that means less passengers as well. It was never crowded on the ship and there were almost no lines, besides next to the pool on a sea day (which is the same on every ship). The new junior suites on deck 14 are nice. Bigger balcony and fairly spacious rooms. I was really glad I got it over the other room I wanted.

Got the cheers plan and never had much of a wait at any bar. The shows are the same as any other carnival cruise so they were pretty good. One thing I did miss was the movies on the deck. This ship doesn't have the big screen. They showed a movie in the lounge one of the sea days to make up for it. Casino was decent, smaller of course, but my wife always found something fun to play. Pools and hot tubs were pretty crowded on sea days but I don't use those so it doesn't bother me. I just like to sit on the lido deck and read my book or enjoy the scenery. Oh the other thing on this ship i noticed is that the lifeboats are on deck 11, right above Lido. Having sailed on a lot of the conquest ships I was used to just going up the stairs and looking out into the ocean right above the Lido deck. Well with lifeboats in the way I had to find other places to gaze off into the ocean.

My 9 year old daughter had a blast. Made some friends the first day at the kids club thing. She hung out with those friends the entire cruise either at the pool or at the kids club. She was sad to see them go.
