We went on this cruise because of the itinerary and the bonus was the wonderful food in the main dining room. Every night we were treated to very good and different foods. My favorite, escargot was on the menu every night. The staff were exceptional, and every one smiled and said good morning, afternoon, evening etc anytime we passed by. Our dining room wait staff only wanted to please and our room steward kept our comfortable room in perfect condition. The ship is slightly dated and could use more of a sprucing up but it was none the less pleasant. The silent disco night was great fun and would recommend it to everyone. Our main complaint was the nightly entertainment. The celebrity orchestra was always overly loud and drowned out any singers , piano players etc. Many times we couldn't make out any of the words to songs because the orchestra was so so loud, which was very disappointing since that is one of the reasons we like cruises so much. The movies were shown on an outdoor screen with no shade, an indoor venue would have been much better during the heat of the day. We also paid the hefty fee to eat in the specialty restaurant, Tuscan Grill one night and were very disappointed with our meal. I had to send the steak back because it wasn't done properly and the side dishes were just okay, not great.. I'd stick with the main dining room.
