We had heard so many accolades from friends about Viking's cruises we wanted to try one with friends. From the very first contact with Viking reps at the Airport in Paris, Viking's service was outstanding. The ship was immaculate and very hospitable. The small size and "free range dining" allowed us to meet many new friends and share experiences. The food on board was absolutely wonderful...ALL MEALS. The service was extraordinary. Our Cruise Director, Lionel was the best. He was truly a showman and put together great entertainment packages for us throughout the cruise. The excursions were very well planned and coordinated. He made a great cruise superb! Don't know what you're paying him, but it's not enough!!!!Each guide we had was terrific, in that ,they were very knowledgeable and very responsive. There seemed to be the right amount of free time and guided tours if you so desired. I do wish there had been more time at the Beaches of Normandy, but we do understand the travel/time restraints on all.

All in all we had a wonderful experience and will return for another Viking cruise...WELL DONE!
