Cabin: Deluxe Stateroom with French Balcony

This was our second Viking River cruise. We liked the inclusiveness of the Viking River cruises. We had free air, with transfers, an included excursions each days with Optional excursions to choose from. I liked that we were met at the airport, taken by van to the ship, with a smooth embarkment. Our room included a French balcony, and bed and pillows were comfortable. The food was excellent, with many outstanding choices for each meal. The staff was very attentive to our needs, and also very polite and welcoming. The native guides were all exceptional and we learned a great deal about each country we visited. The other Viking guests were very friendly, and we enjoyed meeting many different people at each meal. Our disembarkment went smoothly as we were transported by bus to the Munich airport. At the airport, a Viking representative met us and helped us find our departing flight..

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom with French Balcony

Cabin B

Our cabin featured a comfortable bed and pillows with a great view. It was maintained daily. There was a large closet and many drawers also to put our clothes. Each cabin has a small refrigerator and water is also provided. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner., body wash, body lotion, soap and a shower cap.

Port Reviews

Bratislava

In Bratislava we took the city tour with a native guide. We visited many interested areas of the city. Afterwards we were able to shop.

Durnstein (Krems)

We went instead to Cesky Krumlov instead where we had a fabulous tour guide who told us about historical events which happened in the area along with personnel stories. She also recommended places to eat and shop, which we did.

.

Linz (Salzburg)

Instead of going to Linz, we went to Cesky Krumlov instead. This was a picturesque village where the guide told us about the history, architecture, and personnel stories of growing up here. She also mentioned places to eat and shop, which we did.
