Overall, the newness of the Bliss makes up for some of the shortfalls. Not entirely, but a bit.
Dining - This was our first cruise with Norwegian, and we were a bit underwhelmed with the dining choices that didn't cost extra. Savor and Taste were meh, and after those, we didn't bother with the Manhattan Room, although we did walk by it during disembarkation! The Garden Cafe was our default, which while not bad, was not exactly what we thought we were bargaining for when booking. The Observation Deck, with the smaller selection of dishes, wasn't bad, if you could get a seat, with all of the people forgetting they had actual rooms they could sleep in! The pay restaurants? Not happening; with as much as we paid for our trip, we weren't paying more to eat while on board.
Entertainment - We saw Jersey Boys and Havana. The latter was much more entertaining than the former, loved both the singing and dancing. We didn't bother to try and get into the Beatles thing, they were a very overrated band, IMO, so no interest in seeing any impersonation. The comedians were pretty funny; not the dude opening the show, but the other two. We attended the adults only show in the Bliss theater, and it was hilarious.
Cabin - We had a Family Balcony Stateroom, and while it was serviceable, whoever thought putting that large of a bed in this size of cabin was nuts. One edge of the bed is a foot from the closet door, and the foot of the bed about 18" from the wall. The bathroom was nice and roomy, and the balcony serviceable. The cabin above us liked to rearrange their patio furniture at all hours of the day, and the noise was pretty crazy. NOTE: The only outlets in the cabin are above the "desk" area.
Not really what I'd call a port on the trip, We've been to Seattle before, and it was just where the trip started.
Boring port. If the option to skip and keep heading to Seattle was given, that would have been our choice.
