This was a surprise graduation cruise for my 18 yr daughter she has been on 19 cruises, I have enjoyed 70 cruises. Carnival called two days before departure and offered an upgrade so we received a nicer cabin. We don't complain the ship was clean and crew were friendly except our dining waiter he was Chinese and did not enjoy his job,the lobster was $20. 00 so what, where can you buy a lobster dinner for twenty bucks? The spa water was just lukewarm The pool was so cold only the children enjoyed ? It is fun to rent a golf cart in Avalon but the first cart rentals charge $90. walk through town and the rental is $45. for an hour which is plenty of time to cruise the island. Iam a Captain with a 100 ton license PLEASE dont call this ship a boat it is like calling mt everest a hill. The MC at the club was a jerk , I told him the mike was way too loud and he said "so what" We were the second passengers aboard and the first to disembark, nice to be platinum
