I would not recommend sailing on the Norwegian Star. The food, service, and entertainment on the ship was very poor. I had heard great things about cruise ship dining and I was very disappointed. The menus were basically the same every single day and the food was okay at best. Not the exceptional cruise food I had heard about. The service was even worse. All of the waitstaff with the exception of a few acted put out if you had the audacity to ask for something. Sometimes we would just have to leave the table because it was made clear that we were not getting the refill of things we asked for. The ports of this cruise were amazing. Really a great tour of the the Adriatic and Greek Isles. That was the best part of the trip, time spent off of the ship. There was not much else to do on the ship. They had stupid events like board games for check out, and book rental everyday. The shows were lame and the shopping was limited. The bathrooms were always either out of order or had no supplies such as toilet paper, or paper towels. There was only one pool on board and it was very small. The pool deck and the hot tubs all closed very early as well. I would not recommend this cruise and you would be better off touring the Adriatic on your own.
