This was our first time the QM2. Ae were excited about the opportunity but a little restrained based on the reviews from other travelers, particularly as it related to the food.
We traveled with another couple and I would say we had high expectations regarding the food and service. We also brought on board four bottles of wine from our cellar that included a 1959 Chateau Latour.
Let me start by saying that the food was excellent - both in presentation, variety and in preparation. We ate all our meals in the Britannia dining room and the wait staff was highly professional. The sommelier met with us in advance to discuss the wines and the presentation. All of this could not be more professional. We did grab one or two lunches in the Kings Court and it was fine.
