We wanted to experience seeing a different kind of beach where the sand is black. It is black on every Canary Island and the sand itself is different on each island. The weather was on the cloudy and cool side on several days along the way, but we had a wonderful time. Our cabin was great. Onboard offerings were fun and plentiful. We loved the new look of the ship after the refurbishment. Food was much better than we remembered. The Windjammer has the best salad options of any ship we have been on in a long time. On some days, there was a talented crew member who sang and played his acoustical guitar at lunch time. Our Granddaughter enjoyed meeting new friends in the teen club. Onboard entertainment was varied and very good. We love the main production show, "Grease". The Motown and Beetles shows were fun. The comedians kept us laughing. The ship was very full and sometimes felt very crowded in the lounges and common areas, but overall, we had a wonderful time.
