We stayed the night before our cruise at the Raddison @ The Port and had a wonderful time. Weather in Cape Canaveral was cool and windy but still very nice. Took Royal Taxi to the port, the hotel shuttles were very backed up... Got to the port around 10:30, walked right in and got our Sea Passes. We were onboard by 11:00am and on our way to the Windjammer for our Honey Stung chicken. They did not open the doors to the cabins until 1:05pm, but the wait was worth it! Our hump balcony cabin on portside was beautiful.

Our cabin had a huge closet and ample storage. The flat screen TV was very nice. Our cabin steward was Gregory and he was super. We spoke with him on arrival, mentioned specific "wants" and all our requests were filled each day. He made the cutest towel animals to greet us each evening.

Food and Entertainmen were awesome. We had MTD but had the same table and waitstaff whenever we ate in the Dining Room. In the Windjammer we also had the same waitstaff and never lacked for anything. We ate twice in Portifino's. There is no equal to their food! We had the filet on the first night and twin lobster tails on the second. There is no better sfood or staff to be found! All of the shows in the Arcadia Theater were fantastic!! You have to see Drew Thomas and his magic show. We're not big on magicians, but this fellow is not to be missed. Met him later on deck and he chatted with us for awhile. He is a very friendly young man who really seems very surprised at the many compliments he gets. His beautiful wife Rebecca works alongside him in his show and she is great, also. The farewell show was one of the best we've ever attended, Allen Brooks was the CD and he was so much fun! Hope to see him again!

Ports were very pretty. We went to Coco Cay but were not very impressed. Cool weather, clouds and cold water may have tainted our view. Had a bad experienc with Sunny Liston Tours in St Thomas, won't use him again! Loved, loved St Martin! Both sides of the island offer so much, shopping, scenery and friendly people. The water taxi was so much fun, we can't wait to go back next year!

All in all, it was a close to perfect cruise, met lots of fun people and grew close to one couple. We have already booked a cruise with them on the Allure!

Muster Drill was nicer now that you don't bring your life jacket, BUT! I just don't understand why, on a ship this large, drills for everyone can't be held inside and not out on deck with people squished together like BB's in a box! Surely there are enough lounges, dining room space, etc to allow people to meet and possibly the information would be more effective. Think about it, Royal Caribbean!
