Cabin: Oceanview
The Golden Princess did have a septic tank smell from midship to forward. Nearly every time we went to Princess Theater for the shows you had to deal with a light septic smell. Every time we asked a crew member about the septic smell they just smiled and said it was being worked on. The smell seemed to be in the hall ways and not in the main areas.
Alaska is beautiful. What else can be said.
The entertainment on board was subpar except for Donna Campbell who did a Dolly Parton show. The Ship Production shows were average which is the best you can say about them. The dancers and singers were typical cruise show entertainers. Our opinions are based on what are our thoughts on this our 15th cruise.

Cabin OF
We had two cabins Oceanview northbound and inside southbound due to up graded first part of trip. Both cabins clean and they functioned as they were supposed to.
Great bed slept like a log.
