There was a lot of people when we arrived at the port but being in the yacht club we were on the ship in no time. A beautiful ship and very well looked after. Having been in the Yacht club before on Divina and Splendida we were looking forward to seeing this ship. First impressions of our cabin was good, very spacious although there could have been more cupboard space as we had booked two weeks back to back. The restaurant was now part of the yacht club which had its benefits but also downfalls. The ambiance wasn't the same as there was a constant level of noise at lunch and dinnertime. Although walking to the other side of the ship was no problem for us on the othrr shios some people preferred it all in one area. The food was of a good quality but a bit bland for our liking. Only downside for us was that we had exactly the same menu the second week running which was a bit boring. Its a first come first serve basis with it being very busy around seven. One evening was a total chaos for everyone. There were sick staff apparently but otherwise it was good. There were alot of families on board and while most of the kids were well behaved there were some that weren't.The pool area was well thought out with plenty of sunbeds. Two Jacuzzis at the back with the pool by the front. There were notices saying that children were not allowed in the jacuzzus under 16 unless accompanied by an adult but this just wasnt upheld with small kids jumping in the jacuzzis as if they were swimming pools. There was alot of kids the second week which contributed to the fact that it wasnt the relaxing cruise I was expecting. Alot of parents sat around the pool drinking while kids took over everything else. Dont get me wrong I love having kids around but the second week was just too many. The yacht club wasn't really exclusive as many people just walked through the open door and if it wasn't for the attentive staff it could have been much worse. Shows were of a good quality and very entertaining although here again was repeated the second week. Best by far was Timeless...brilliant Michael Jackson tribute act. The rest of ship was nice. Zip line was hit and miss with long queues and in our 2 weeks was either closed due to wind or a 3 hour wait. Im not sure if I would do this again. I prefer the Yacht club on the other ships as it was much more exclusive with less family rooms. After talking to one of the staff we found out that there are alot more family cabins in the Yacht club where 5 people can sleep in obe cabin. Thats what made this cruise a bit hectic and too noisy. Ports were good and getting in and off ship was easy. The MSC app was very good the first week where you can keep an eye on activities and on board account but second week just didn't seem to work. The butlers and cabin staff were really helpful although didn't all work the same. We found out from some people we met that they had towel animals every night and we didnt even see one. As it is I think I will stick to the smaller MSC ships
