We did this cruise coming straight off a relocation cruise Sydney to Vancouver on the Noordam.

We disembarked the Noordam at 10 am and boarded the Westerdam 3pm on the same day.

All went smoothly and we were able to drop our luggage in the morning which allowed us to explore Vancouver during the day.

Cabin Review

Large Outside Stateroom (partial sea views)

Cabin G

Deck 4 mid ships. Cabins recently refurbished.

Nice large screen TV with on demand movies and all ship info at your finger tips.

We like being mid ships as there is less rock and roll at sea and close to the promenade deck so you get out and about easily to se what is on offer outside.

Port Reviews

Ketchikan

Typical Alaskan port lots of shops. Good local art and craft if you look for it.

Glacier Bay

Peaceful cruising with plenty of time allowed. Ship got in close to main glacier and captain turned the ship to allow plenty of viewing by all.

Informative narrative. Got to see the glacier carving several times.

Serving of hot dutch pea soup on deck kept us warm. Nice touch typical of HAL
