My wife and I are avid cruisers. 15+ cruises on most of the cruise lines. Celebrity is our favored line. 2nd time on Summit. Chose this cruise to get away and left out of Bayonne for convenience and to save air fare. It was rather last minuet so didn't have much to choose from. Bayonne is one of the best ports to leave from. We were on board 20 minutes after arriving. Disembarking was not that bad either.

Got cabin 9052 Aqua Class. Best Aqua Class cabins are on deck 11 but as I said we didn't have much to choose from. Deck 9 is right below the pool deck and has an overhang. I will try to include a picture. Balcony gets no sun and minimal view but still ok. So be careful where your cabin is located as there may be some noise from the deck above depending on where on deck 9 you are. Our cabin 9052 was not bad as it was below the entrance to the solarium doors so we heard minimal noise. Better cabin would have been 9054/56 or same on the starboard side.

Aqua Class has some amenities worth the extra charge and some not so much. Blu restaurant was one of the reasons we go with Aqua Class and well worth it. I am a chef so for me the food could have been a little more flavorful but the servic was, as always, exemplary. The daily canapés and fruit we could have done without and there were never any fresh flowers in the room as expected but really not a big deal. The daily iced tea was nice. The shower with multiple heads was great but the shower doors never shut correctly so there was always a look on the floor afterwards. Just used towel to sop it up.
