We chose this cruise because we wanted a sister’s weekend getaway, and it was the week of my birthday. This was my fourth time on this ship, and I can’t wait till my next! From embarkation to disembarkation everything and everyone was wonderful, (well the room could have been bigger) but we got 2 inside cabins so we didn’t expect much. Honestly though, the rooms were small but very cozy, cool, and dark. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, and our room steward was very attentive and friendly. The food on the ship was better than most cruises I’ve sailed on, especially the dining room food. We ate at the Palace dining room 3 mornings and 2 nights and all our food was delicious. I usually stay away from the dining rooms for dinners because I’ve found the food there tastes a lot like wedding food but that was not the case this time. The buffets were nothing amazing but after unlimited drinks it was nice to know you could always grab a quick bite here or there. We never made it to any of the specialty restaurants but we honestly didn’t miss it! Great Stirrup Kay was a delightful place to spend the day though I would have preferred at least two! We rented a large cabana for the 4 of us which included some fruit, food, a fridge with water bottles, floating mats, a hammock, lounge chairs, a sectional sofa and most importantly a ceiling fan!!! It was worth every penny, especially since we had our own personal attendant who never left our hands without full drinks from the bar. We saw two shows, good singing and dancing! The comedian was hysterical, and the dance parties like The White Hot Party on the pool deck or late night in Dazzles lounge were an awesome way to burn off all the food and drinks of the day. The guests were happy (myself included) the service at all venues was terrific! Fun, fun, fun weekend!!!!!
