We boarded the AMAPrima in Amsterdam for a cruise of the Rhine River to Basil. This was our second AMA cruise, the previous being the Danube River cruise. We were immediately impressed with the hospitality of the entire crew. Each and every crew member we came in contact with was genuinely friendly and provided outstanding service to all the guests. On top of the list was the cruise director Dejan Stancic. Dejan was the 'face' of AMA and did a fantastic job of hosting the cruise. He took it upon himself to see to it that every passenger was pleased with the way the cruise was progressing. His daily briefing of the next day's agenda was thorough and enjoyable. The 'Fairytale' castles along the Rhine were fascinating. The land tours, both bus and walking were conducted by knowledgeable local guides and were educational. The dining room staff was attentive and efficient. The housekeeping staff worked to keep the cabins in good order. Overall, the trip was great. AMA should clone Dejan for all of their ships. He truly is an asset and certainly was an important part of making this cruise 'outstanding'.

Cabin Review

Stateroom with French balcony and outside balcony

The housekeeping staff worked tirelessly to clean and/or tidy up the staterooms whenever passengers would leave, e.g., breakfast, daily tours, and at dinner for turn down. Excellent and non-intrusive.
