We haven't been on a summer vacation in several years. We decided to kick off this summer with a cruise on the Oasis for our whole family (10 of us). It was actually cheaper for us to travel on this ship than it was on a Carnival Cruise line. We were in 2 rooms. My parents were in an Ultra Spacious Ocean view room with 4 kids. (Travel agents don't know about these rooms, we found out about it through RC). We were in an inside cabin with 2 other kids. The rooms were FANTASTIC. The Ultra Spacious is exactly that. Plenty of room for ALL of us to hang out. We traveled with a 4 year old and he LOVED Adventure Ocean for kids. I would go on this cruise again JUST so my 4 year old could be a part of aquanauts again!! The staff is OUTSTANDING!

The entertainment on this ship is exceptional and will leave you amazed at the talent that ALL of these entertainers possess. DON'T miss the ice show!! Trust me, it's not just your average show on ice. You might want to save Cats for an afternoon performance. We saw it Monday night and something about a day spent in the sun and at sea, a full belly and the music of Cats that will put you right to sleep!! All but 3 of us in our family stayed past intermission, ha! About half of the audience left as well. The cast is very talented but the audience was very sleepy, ha! DON"T miss the aqua show in the back of the ship either. That is utterly amazing & breathtaking!

The food in the Windjammer was VERY good. We have no complaints. We only ate in the Main Dining Room on lobster night and my mom and I didn't Love it. She found it to be pretty chewy and my prime rib wasn't good at all. BUT, the French onion soup, the Chocolate Molten Lava Cake and Creme Brulee werbvery good! :)

Cabin 4V

There were 4 of us in this inside cabin. I was actually surprised that we found a place for ALL of our clothes and it didn't feel crowded. An extra little tip: Go to the $1 store and buy some of those silver over the door hooks, this will help you TREMENDOUSLY!! I bought around 4. I used ours to hang up hats, purse and to hang up wet bathing suits so they could dry. Also, you might want to get a dry erase board for $1 to put on your outside door if you are traveling with a large group. It was a great way to let our other family members know where to find us.
