  3. Regal Princess
My last cruise in 2017 was on the new Majestic Princess so this review is my comparison of the two ships. We enjoyed the Regal much more than the Majestic, even though they are the same design. This was the smoothest cruise ever. You could hardly feel movement of the ship. Embarkation and Disembarkation was smooth and efficient. Cabin: Our mini suite ( A401)was larger than on the Majestic. Our room steward (Cesar) was efficient and accommodating. Dining: The MDR food as well as the buffet was better on the Regal. The crew and staff seemed to be happier than on the Majestic. While the pizza at Alfredo's was just ok, the ambience, service and ante pasti made up for the lackluster pizza. Our favorite dining room waiter was Rey. He was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and made our dining experience enjoyable. Entertainment: We only went to two shows: Fieri and Bravo. Both were very professional and the entertainers had wonderful voices. Great shows. There was a band in the Piazza and by the pool called Static. They were fabulous. Everyone, young and young at heart, seemed to enjoy them. They livened up the Piazza and had loads of people dancing and rocking. Excursions: We took Princess excursions in Berlin and St. Petersburg. They were well organized, with very good guides, and worth the cost. We would definitely go on Regal again.

Great cruise experience on the Regal

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin MB A401
Excellent cabin with room to stretch out. The balcony is a bit small but adequate.
