The ship is big. We are not used to getting to the cruise terminal and waiting in a category to board. Once it was time for us to board, it went smoothly. There were a lot to do on the ship at all times. It was our privileged to meet some great people that worked on this large ship. Our room steward was fabulous and new our names from the beginning. Jose made sure we had anything we needed. The cabin was nice but smaller than what we are used to. Dining was great and the food okay. Love all the shows that were provided. We were able to see Burn the floor in the theater and in the Tropicana room. On the first day I was able to meet the restaurant manager, Mr. Hernan Gonzalez Rios. He was able to honor me with a birthday dinner in the Tropicana. In the Tropicana Restaurant we had a server, Mariam, that was quick and personable. She remembered everyone and always had time to say a quick hello. At the Tappanyaki, we had the privileged for Artie to prepare a nice meal and entertain us. In the Atrium bar, Nelia was a dream. We set there and got to know her. She remembered what you liked. She had a waive and smile for everyone. If you go make sure you stop by the Atrium bar. The Million Dollar Quartet was a nice show too. The disembarkation was totally awful. We waited 3.5 hours to get off. I am glad we had a late flight. I think our next cruise in 2019 will be on Carnival. If you go on the Getaway, take time to talk and get to know the crew.
Loved the people in the markets
Loved looking around and talking to people. Very beautiful.
People always trying to get you to buy something or take a taxi.
Did not go far from the ship.
