Crystal Serenity Cruise Review by Loki4
- Sail Date: May 2018
- Destination: Baltic Sea
- Cabin Type: Deluxe Stateroom with Verandah (slightly limited view)
Dining by reservation was a hassle if you wanted to change your time.
MDR service was often slow. Waited 45 minutes one evening to get appetizer.
Food often didn't come out as requested (salad with dressing on the side).
Went to Tastes for lunch. Ordered salad with grilled chicken, it was raw.
The cruise itinerary wasn't very exciting. Leaving from Marseille created some problems. Many people were missing luggage, probably due to the air traffic controllers striking.
The ship can definitely use some refurbishing.
Enjoyed the entertainment and met some very nice people. Participated in the art class which was lots of fun.
Medical staff was very attentive.
Food was very good. Enjoyed the Crystal Cove, the servers and bartenders work nonstop.
Enjoyed going to the Bistro after returning from excursions.

We needed more buses to go back to the ship. People waited for the last bus and had to stand part of the way back.
