Sail Date: May 2018
Cabin: Balcony

We picked this cruise for the ports and the freestyle cruise. We were happy with our choice. The ship had just completed dry dock and had a new crew. Some of the minor problems this caused did not both me or my wife.

The cabin with balcony was perfectly acceptable. The TV did not work for a couple of days, but that was not important to our happiness. Our excellent room steward vanished a couple of days into the cruise, but the cleaning and turn down continued. Norwegian should have explained the absence sooner, and provide a standby stewart. The explanation that she had a home emergency and left the cruise could have been given sooner, but again this did not bother our vacation.

The con-signage app supplied by Norwegian was not very good, and not ready for release; you can't communicate with questions, you can't see accurate billing information, you can't make excursion or dinner reservations. This again did not adversely impact our vacation.

Walked to palace from port. Great exercise, and the Grand Prix F1 was doing time trials. Really fun on our own
