We picked this cruise for the ports and the freestyle cruise. We were happy with our choice. The ship had just completed dry dock and had a new crew. Some of the minor problems this caused did not both me or my wife.

The cabin with balcony was perfectly acceptable. The TV did not work for a couple of days, but that was not important to our happiness. Our excellent room steward vanished a couple of days into the cruise, but the cleaning and turn down continued. Norwegian should have explained the absence sooner, and provide a standby stewart. The explanation that she had a home emergency and left the cruise could have been given sooner, but again this did not bother our vacation.

The con-signage app supplied by Norwegian was not very good, and not ready for release; you can't communicate with questions, you can't see accurate billing information, you can't make excursion or dinner reservations. This again did not adversely impact our vacation. Read more
