We chose this cruise because we wanted to experience a large ship with all the bells and whistles. We had experienced an old Carnival cruise ship and a Disney cruise, we just wanted something different. There is a lot of stuff to do . . . I mean A LOT. To the point that I sometimes felt guilty for just sitting and doing nothing, which I sometimes enjoy doing. But with so much activity going on I felt pressure to constantly be on the move (please note: none of the crew made me feel this way, it was just me). Also, because of the ship layout with the different neighborhoods, I often forgot I was even at sea. It was a challenge to make it to an area to even see the ocean (I had an interior room). Deck 5 has a walking track, but most of the view is blocked by life boats, plus you have hard core runners running around and I felt bad being on the track because I just wanted to stroll. Or you had to go up to deck 15 with the mass of humanity to see the ocean. The adult area was always crowded and hot. There just wasn't a good place to chill and watch the ocean. Windjammer was pretty good, not great. But it's a buffet, so you can always find something to eat. The Park Cafe was great. Usually not crowded and the roast beef sandwich was delicious, so were the bagels and smoked salmon. Main dining room was good. Great deserts. Never had any seafood/fish that was great, but all the meat was great! My daughter got New York strip every night that was always top notch. All the meat I had was prepared perfectly and had a lot of flavor. Wait staff was awesome.

Cats was . . . well, Cats. The performers were really good. It was as close to Broadway as you're going to get. The dive show and ice skating show were GREAT. Very impressive. We didn't see the head liner, it was just a band singing covers. Come Fly With Me was okay.

St. Maarten- if you like to shop this is the place. My son did the Sea Trek and really enjoyed it. In retrospect I would have had his excursion earlier or late in the day so we could enjoy the island or beach before or after. The excursion was right in the middle of the day so it left little time on either side to do much.
