We booked this cruise only because of the itinerary. It was our 13th cruise, the second time with NCL. We had cruised Alaska on the Norwegian Pearl so we knew what to expect with this ship. We needed a floating hotel to see the islands. My hubby and I were celebrating our 25th and my parents' their 55th anniversaries. Our 17 year old son was with us. Our group of 5 had the 2 bedroom aft suite 10678. Our friends had the two aft cabins next door to us. We booked these rooms 16 months in advance and secured the best rates and rooms that we wanted.

We flew from the east coast and spent the night prior at the Hale Koa. We are military and love this resort. We used Dang's Limos for transport from airport to hotel, then hotel to pier. The rate was $55 and we were driven in a super stretch Escalade. Loved this for a few bucks more it was so worth it. The owner drove us both days and he was very nice.

Embarkation and debarkation were a breeze. We were expedited through check-in then taken to a special room for appetizers and drinks. We met our concierge there and he reviewed the suite perks with everyone. Only those booked in a suite could eat at Cagney's. No family or friends allowed! We were then taken to the waiting area for our lunch at Cagney's. They serve breakfast and lunch only to suite members. The food is fabulous. The hours are 630-930am and 12-2pm. Every food we ordered was fabulous! They will have your butler deliver a meal to hour room if someone in your party sleeps in!

Cabin Review

2-Bedroom Family Suite with Large Balcony

Cabin SI

Our suite was perfect for our family of 5. My parents had the bedroom with the king bed, my husband and I slept in the queen bed in the living room. Our son took the small second bedroom, but we could have made do in there. Three TVs, tiny restroom, insanely huge balcony. Mom and I bought the Spa pass for the week at $75 each and WORTH EVERY PENNY! We enjoyed the dry sauna, steam room, and heated relaxation chairs each afternoon. We then showered in the huge showers and applied our makeup at the large vanity while the men got ready in our room. The one small bathroom was never an issue with us but we knew this in planning for the cruise and the Spa Pass was perfect for our needs.
