Sometimes when you cruise multiple times on a particular line, current expectations don't meet past cruise experiences. Not so with AMA. Each cruise is as good if not better than previous ones. Our 11 day Rhine & Moselle Fairytales cruise was no exception. Everything from the service to the food to the cabin to the ship and personnel to the itinerary was impeccable and first class. AMA is in a class alone and can't imagine ever cruising Europe's rivers on another line. Dejean is one of the hardest working cruise managers we have ever been involved with. He was always pleasant and ready to engage in conservation or discuss cruise details. Captain Gerd is the most accessible captain we have known. Bigger than life personality, he would welcome you in the wheelhouse and loved to talk boat and navigation stuff. We really enjoyed getting to know him. Hotel manager, Patrice always greeted you with a smile and wanted to know if everything was alright with our cruise. His staff did a wonderful job. Maitre'd Pawel greeted us at in the dining room with a smile and a hearty handshake. Thanks again for your help in the grocery store in Kues.

The variety and quality of food on the AMAPrima is awesome. Our cabin was perfect. We used both the balcony and the french balcony. A lot of room, storage space, big bathroom and comfortable beds.

We were a little disappointed with the variety of entertainment, but knowing that this was the first cruise on this itinerary, it could be expected. We, however, enjoyed listening to Norbert's piano each evening...sometimes singing along or dancing. Read more
