Ruby Princess Cruise Review by Mike E
- Sail Date: June 2018
- Destination: Alaska
- Cabin Type: Interior
Had some problems with Princess and the ship. We were promised a room on an upper deck (14 or 15). They put us on deck 8.
My room key wouldn't work on 5 of the 7 days. Kept taking it back to the front desk to fix it once and for all and all they would do is give me another room key (that also failed).
Buffet dining was substandard compared to other cruises we have been on. The cooks seemed to have an attitude.
Ruby Princess is definitely not a 5 star ship (at least compared to other 5 star ships we have sailed on).
Entertainment was sub par. The comedian was good.
All in all, an Alaska cruise is a must do ... but I would book on another cruise line if we go back. Thanks for asking. Mike E
